To whom it may concern,

I am writing this mostly to give an update on my work and as commemoration of my new premium membership. Said premium was provided by a generous friend who donated a whopping 800 points after finding that he "simply had them laying around," even though he almost never uses this site at all. He is mentioned in my profile, if you're interested in seeing his mostly blank page. While strange, I suppose I'm happy to say that I am now a communist funded by a capitalist.

I do plan to do some extra things with the premium; more polls, perhaps more journals, requesting critiques on my work, etc. We shall see, but it will primarily be used for beta-testing purposes.

As for my progress, I have been keeping up (mostly) with posting political work every week. If any of it has been lacking, I apologize, as these past few weeks have been spent waiting on and receiving most of my college letters. I had applied to five schools; University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland Baltimore County, Ithaca College, Brandeis University, and New York University.

Both UMBC and Ithaca have accepted me with open arms, the latter offering nearly a half-ride on merit aide alone (likely because they're shocked to get a good science student rather than a liberal arts major). UMBC offered less, but they have an in-state tuition to offer me and less of a crappy environment for my education.

UMD wait-listed me for the fall session, but accepted me for the spring, which I thought was odd but then learned was surprisingly common for excellent students this year. They have, however, offered to let me take classes in either London or Rome in the fall instead of waiting until the spring for classes. I will not go to UMD no matter what, so this does not matter to me.

NYU rejected me outright. This shocked me, seeing as I beat out their educational standards. This angered the hell out of me as well; NYU was my one and only sure-fire way out of the cycle of poverty set forth for me by my parents. By going to NYU, I could ensure grad school would be essentially free. The fury I had has died away to melancholy by now.

I only await a letter from Brandeis now, and should they accept me (they will) I will be attending said college this fall. Hopefully, the debt I rack up over the years will not destroy me. I am not hopeful, though.

Moving on, I recognize my pony artwork has gone barren. This bothers me to no end, believe me, but I find it incredibly difficult to pick up those colored pencils with the school work I have these days. The work feels pointless, knowing that I can already go to college in the fall, but I do it anyways. Perhaps I will draw more during spring break. Requests are still open, of course, but it may take a while to do any.

I believe that's all for now, so goodbye to those that were willing to sit through my long-winded update.

When you say communist funded by a capitalist is that true? :O not that I have a problem or anything ^^;

That's the great thing about premium memberships :XD: more polls :lmao:

Good luck getting into college :) Only problem you should worry is having the money to get in :O
