To Whom It May Concern,
Up until yesterday, I hadn't written a single thing for my blog or for this site. Around the middle of November, I encountered a problem I wasn't very familiar with: writer's block. It wasn't so much that I couldn't figure out what to write, it was more that I just didn't feel like writing. At all. I could no longer find enjoyment in what I was doing for some reason. This was somewhat beneficial to me at the time, given that my first college finals were coming up and I needed to prepare. However, I do feel quite guilty for not at least keeping readers of my work up to date. I'll be attempting to return to regular, weekly writing in the New Year, but unfortunately I can't really make any promises until I see what my new workload is for next semester.
I now consider my transition to poetry failed. I'm just no good at punching out something with a structure like a poem; they're too short and too odd for me. I love reading poems, but it appears I'll never be able to chug out more than a few over a long period of time. So, any poems I do from now on will exclusively be posted here, and will likely be sporadic in nature.
I should lastly note that I am no longer the Commissar of Literary Affairs for the CPDA. I am now the Commissar of Theory and Ideology. I will do my best to serve my comrades well.
